Todd Jaynes has had the opportunity to study extensively with many of the world’s most experienced natural hoof care providers. Todd has taught distal limb anatomy, the principals of natural hoof care and both beginning and advanced trimming techniques to hundreds of students including farriers and veterinarians from all over the globe. Years of maintaining several hundred horses in the field combined with performing countless cadaver dissections and exposure to varying hoof care philosophies through both students and teachers has given Todd a unique perspective on “what works” in day to day practice. Todd’s experience has led him to a “whole horse” approach to hoof care. Looking past the foot and trying to identify the root cause of problems. Or better, why some horses seem to have no problems! The goal of these clinics is to provide attendees the critical information needed to maintain their horse’s hooves or choose a competent hoof care provider. Basically, what works, why it works and how it works. These clinics are an excellent “jump off” point for people looking to begin a career in natural hoof care. Todd is currently a Field Instructor and Public Education Clinician for the Equine Sciences Academy. He is also a Field Instructor for the United Kingdom Natural Hoof Care Practitioners. Todd is a student of Natural Balance Equine Dentistry through the Advanced Whole Horse Dentistry Learning Center with Spencer LaFluer. Todd maintains an active clientele of horses in the southeastern United States. He travels extensively to provide clinics and consultations for both horse owners and professionals.
